STANDARD CLUB BYLAWS
WATCH THE INSPIRING KEY CLUB VIDEO BELOW!
Every Key Club should have Club Bylaws to ensure order and organization throughout the club. The club bylaws are created by Key Club International and revised for each individual club to their appropriate manners. Club officers should update the bylaws every year. Below is a link to a standard form for Key Club Bylaws.
ROLE OF INDIVIDUAL CLUBS
Below are some basic duties clubs should perform:
-

-
fundraise and create awareness for the preferred charities

attend division and district events throughout the year
KEY CLUB PLEDGE, MOTTO, CORE VALUES
Key Club Pledge: (This pledge is performed at every meeting.)
I pledge on my honor to uphold the objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school, and community; to serve my nation and God; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.
Key Club Motto: “Caring – Our way of Life.”
Key Club Core Values: Leadership, Character Building, Inclusiveness, Caring
KEY CLUB DISTRICTS
Key Club International is broken down into districts. Districts consists of one or more states and hold district conventions yearly. Below are the Key Club Districts. We are a part of California-Nevada-Hawaii District.
INTERNATIONAL BOARD
All 34 districts, as well as Key Club nations that don’t fit into any district, make up Key Club International. How international are we? Currently, there are Key Clubs in 38 countries. Each year, delegates at the Key Club International convention elect a new Key Club International Board, which includes a president, vice president and 11 trustees. The trustees oversee districts, similar to how lieutenant governors oversee divisions. Together, the Key Club International Board—with the guidance of Kiwanis staff—helps lead our organization and elevate our members’ passion to the next level.
