The Kiwanis Family

The Kiwanis Family is made of 6 organizations: Kiwanis, Circle K, Key Club, Builders Club, K-Kids, and Aktion Club.

KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL

Established in 1915, Kiwanis International is one of the largest service organizations in the world and consists of willing adults who love to serve the community. Kiwanis’ primary focus is children.  Their motto is: Serving the children of the world. and sponsors the rest of the branches. 

BUILDERS CLUB

Builders Club is the largest community-service program for junior and middle school students. Their goal is to develop leadership qualities in young people through experiences in volunteer service. Builders Club motto is: Building Leaders.

CIRCLE K INTERNATIONAL

Circle K International (CKI) is an international collegiate service organization that consists of college/university students who serve the community. Circle K promotes service, leadership, and fellowship. Circle K's motto is: Live to Serve, Love to Serve.

K-KIDS

Kiwanis Kids is a student-led community service organization for elementary students. They goal is to  in service to serve the school and community and develop leadership  potential. Kiwanis Kids' motto is: We Build.

KEY CLUB INTERNATIONAL

The first Key Club formed in 1925 in Sacramento, California with 11 charter members. Key Club was the idea of two Sacramento Kiwanis club members, Albert C. Olney and Frank C. Vincent, who also were high school administrators. They approached their Kiwanis club with the idea of starting a junior service club in the high school that would hold luncheon meetings and consist of key boys in the school, willing to serve the school in any way possible and to create better school spirit.

Today, Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students in the world. KEY stands for Kiwanis Educating Youth and the Key Club motto is: Caring-Our way of Life

AKTION CLUB

Aktion Club is a community-service organization for adults who have a disability. Aktion Club members strive to return and give back to their communities. Aktion Club's motto is: Where development has no disability.
